Directions to the Cook Campus
Center
59 Biel Road, New Brunswick, NJ
From New Jersey Turnpike (North or South): Turn off at Exit 9, bear right after the tollbooths and follow signs
for "Route 18 North - New Brunswick." Stay to the left to get
onto Route 18 North.
Proceed on Route 18 North and bear right to access the local lanes. Follow the sign for "New Brunswick Exits - Cook/Douglass Campus - Commercial Ave - New St." At the 2nd light, make a left turn onto Commercial Avenue. Proceed on Commercial Avenue, and at the second light (Exxon station on corner) make a left onto George Street. At the next light, make a right turn onto Nichol Avenue.
Once on Nichol Avenue, your third left turn will be Dudley Road. Follow Dudley Road for 0.6 miles, through the 4-way stop sign, past the athletic fields, to the 2nd bus stop, where you turn right onto Biel Road. Proceed on Biel Road, and Cook Campus Center will be the first building on your left. After passing the Campus Center, take your 2nd right turn to enter the parking lot. You may use parking lots 99B, 99C, and 99D. Please park in these lots only.
From Garden State
Parkway Southbound: Turn off at Exit 129 for the New Jersey Turnpike and head south. Follow NJ Turnpike directions above.
From Garden State
Parkway Northbound: Turn off at Exit 105 and follow signs for Route
18 North. Go past the entrance for the
New Jersey Turnpike and stay on Route 18 North. Follow directions from Route 18 North in NJ Turnpike instructions above.
From Interstate 287 (North or South): Turn off at Exit 9 "River Road, Bound Brook, Highland Park." Proceed East on
River Road toward Highland Park. Make a right onto Route 18 South (exit after the traffic light at Landing Lane). Cross the Raritan River on the John Lynch Memorial Bridge. Continue on Route 18 South. Follow signs for the New Brunswick exits, and make a right at the Commercial Avenue exit. Proceed to the second light, and make a left onto George Street. At the next light, make a right turn onto Nichol Avenue. Follow local directions from Nichol Avenue as above.
US Route 1: Turn off Route 1 at exit marked "Route 18 North - New Brunswick." Follow directions from Route 18 North in NJ Turnpike instructions above.

Trains
New Jersey Transit's Northeast Corridor
Line provides New Brunswick with both local and express service between
New York and Newark's Penn Stations and Trenton New Jersey. (For Information

SEPTA (Southeastern Pennsylvania Transit
Authority) provides service at Trenton to and from Philadelphia. (For Information
215-580-7800).
Amtrak provides limited direct service
to New Brunswick, however connections can easily be made via New Jersey
Transit trains to principle Amtrak stations at MetroPark, New York and Trenton.

From New Brunswick Train Station to Campus:
The New Brunswick Train Station is located
at the corner of Albany Street and Easton Avenue across from the Rutgers
Bookstore.
There is a taxi dispatcher window inside
the New Brunswick train station.
Campus Bus routes "EE"
and "Weekend 1" and "Weekend 2" have a stop near the train station, on George Street just before Somerset Street.
Take either bus to the Cook Campus/Biel Road.

NJ Transit Buses
New Jersey Transit Bus Routes (For Information

M11 - Service between New Brunswick (St.
Peter's Hospital) and South River (Main Street and Obert Street). This route
also has a stop at the New Brunswick Train Station.
M14 - Service between North Brunswick (Fashion
Plaza Mall) and Edison (Middlesex County College) with a stop at the Rutgers
Student Center on the College Avenue Campus.
M15/M18 - Service between Woodbridge Center
and Rutgers Student Center with stops at the Rutgers Student Center on the
College Avenue Campus, downtown New Brunswick on George Street near the
Civic Square Building, and on the Douglass Campus on George Street near
Cooper Dining Hall.
